Hello? No, goodbye. Or is it both. Neither? Data entry should not be this confusing. It wasn't always this way, you know, but now it's gone and happened again. He always handled everything; that's the way this is supposed to work. He takes the calls, I store the data. I'm not supposed to do both. Thief? Thief, come here! [and the feed goes quiet as she disappears to find her thief, leaving it alone to click off later]
call
What does one do when one is lonely, Doctor? I'm used to waiting, but it's different in this body.
call; oh gosh sorry D: my notif got eaten!
[He pauses for a moment, really thinking about it] I think you go and spend time with the people still here. [So... contradictory, isn't he? Considering how lonely he was when he was pulled from.] Rose and I are still here. Amy, too. And Jack, if he doesn't make you too uncomfortable.
As well as people from here, people we've met. My door is always open- [Oh, hold on] Do you, ah, have a name, now? Human body, now- well, mostly human, anyway.
no worries! I've been busy anyway
[there's no real judgment in that explanation. she isn't trying to make him feel guilty or pressured. she just doesn't care about anyone the way she cares about the Doctor and she never will] I know. And I'll see them. I'm just not sure what to say. You've always been there to do the talking.
Well, you call me Sexy, but only when we're alone. Does that count?
no subject
[He does pause, though, thinking about what she said. About talking, about being... well, lonely. If anyone knew the pain of losing people, of being lonely, it was them.]
Well, considering how often I get into trouble, I'd say it's really only a matter of time until he does something to land right back in here. In the meantime~!
Anything you need. Anything at all. It's the least I can do. All our time spent together? Travelling? It's about time I give a little back, hm?
no subject
[she grins a bit, some of that smugness returning, before her expression grows more somber, affectionate.]
You silly, stupid man, you have given me so much more than you realise. Besides, all I've ever wanted is time with you, to be with you. And maybe run a little. I admit more often than not I've wanted your companions gone so it's only us, but at least now I'm the one you can run with.
