{Data Stream 17} - When Anger Shows

[so, someone guessed right and is currently standing over Ganymede's body, the tip of her staff pressed into the mangled flesh of the captain's former face. she's completely nonchalant about this, by the by, and more angry that she didn't get to kill him than that he's dead and at her feet and she's poking him with a stick none-too-gently]

The captain was to be mine. For harming the Doctor, he was mine to destroy.

[looks away from her sphere, down into the engineering section and toward where she thinks Orion went. he is so not on her happy list, let me tell you :|]

It would seem, however, we have more to concern ourselves with than the captain's untimely death, if those monitors are at all correct.

No. I do not wish. It is a logical suggestion, however.

Logical yes, but...was there even anything left to his face? I hardly think it's worth cannibalising his body in search for something that was crushed to oblivion.

[hisoldgirl]

A paltry amount. [sighs] We shall have to see if Level 3 requires a retina scan, then. If it does, it will be far more difficult to access.

[bit_impossible]

If it comes to that point, perhaps by then we'll have found Orion and we can use him to gain access.

[hisoldgirl]

Perhaps. Assuming he does not remain as elusive as he has been.

[bit_impossible]

Unfortunately, we'll have to assume he will. He evaded us long enough while he was on-board the ship and somehow prevented us from following him up the other lift. [doesn't like being a step behind.]

[hisoldgirl]

Then we will have to find a way to ensure he cannot escape us.

[bit_impossible]

Too bad booby-trapping the entire ship is out of the question...

[hisoldgirl]

Yes. It is.

[hisoldgirl]

There are enough of us. I believe we could accomplish it.

Something tells me there'd be quite a few people who'd have something to say about that...

I do not care what they have to say.

[bit_impossible]

[sighs] I know you don't...

[hisoldgirl]

Then we shall not discuss them.

[bit_impossible]

[eyes her then sighs] We need another way of catching him that won't harm the others. I refuse to see anyone else hurt.

[hisoldgirl]

[sets her jaw, then shrugs and looks away] Very well. Perhaps an anti-gravity well near the Level 3 entrance? We should be able to cannibalise the ship to make one.

[bit_impossible]

[he nods, tilting his head slightly as he thinks about that and running through a mental inventory of things he's seen in the shops that they could use if taking apart the ship won't work.] Yes, I suppose that could work. But let's see how far down we can get first.

[hisoldgirl]

Of course, Doctor. [reaches out, taking his hand, and leads him along the hallways]

[the walk back seems a little longer to him--only because he was running the first time instead of being led out--but he makes sure to manoeuvre himself in between her and the keypad controls in case it has a spare bolt left over for her.]

[pays little attention to the controls at all, really, intent on getting to Level 3 and saving the Doctor]

[well, he's glad all the same that nothing happens and continues to let her lead him towards the lifts. he doesn't even look over to where K-9 rests; can't bear to.]

[hisoldgirl]

[she does notice and pauses a moment to check, confused as to what happened, though it's obvious the Doctor is intent on making it to the lift and so she follows reluctantly, glancing over her shoulder toward K-9, frowning]
